The charity that is closest to our heart is THE SWIFTY FOUNDATION. The foundation donates all proceeds to Pediatric Cancer Research and Awareness. The Gustafson family covers all of the administrative costs. The Swifty Foundation was created in memory of Michael Gustafson, who at 15 passed away from Medullablastoma, a brain tumor. Michael was Dr. Azzaro’s son, Justin’s, life long and closest friend.
During Michael’s life he raised thousands of dollars for The American Cancer Society only to discover a minimal amount was put toward Pediatric Cancer Research. Michael’s wish was for “no other kid to have to go through what he is going through” so Swifty Foundation was founded.
We, at Seven Bridges Eye Care, sell lens cleaning cloths and larger cloths for cleaning digital screens with the full donation going to the Swifty Foundation. This is our gesture to help with the fight against pediatric cancer and keep Michael’s memory alive.
